  • Obtaining the relevant B-BBEE compliance related information for the last financial year.
  • Assessing the scoring based on the financial statements and forecast/budget for the year.
  • Reporting to the client on compliance gaps to be addressed in line with compliance objectives.
  • Developing the client’s B-BBEE Compliance implementation plan for the year.
  • Sourcing Service Providers and advising on Best Fit Solutions to address compliance gaps.
  • Assisting with the Implementation and Interim Review of planned compliance initiatives.
  • Financial Year End review of scorecard and claims as well as supporting evidence.
  • Identifying Gaps in Compliance that may exist prior to Year End finalisation (re-assessing targets).
  • Identifying substantiating evidence requirements for the client to address for the BEE file.
  • Preparation of the B-BBEE Scorecard & Evidence Pack for verification.
  • Facilitating the onsite verification process with the appointed verification agents.
  • Finalising any queries raised during the audit process & obtaining the certificate.

Our Compliance Management Process

Information Gathering on all relevant compliance indicators; Compilation of B- BBEE Scorecard and drafting of Gap Analysis Report for Management Review and Consultation.

Based on the results of the Gap Analysis Exercise and required B-BBEE compliance level, a Strategy Plan is developed and presented for Management Review and Budget Approval.

Various compliance measures are adopted and implemented on each element of the scorecard at the most cost effective rate of return and in line with the overall compliance objectives.

Regular management consultations are held to assess the impact of the compliance plan and implementation measures on the scorecard and adjustments are made where required.

After Financial Year End, the scorecard is finalised and all relevant documentation and supporting evidence is collated and prepared for presentation to the accredited Verification Agency.

A hard copy file is collated and reviewed with the rating agency, samples are selected and finalised for the onsite verification. A rating is conducted to assess the validity of all compliance claims.

On completion of an onsite verification audit by the SANAS accredited verification agency, a final compliance level is awarded and a B-BBEE Certificate is issued (valid for 1 year).
